Special Interest Groups

The Newcomers Club strives to contribute to the community it calls home in several ways.

Ilene Blumberg and Bernie Kahl are the co-ordinators for the special interest groups that include: Book Clubs on both the North and South ends of the Grand Strand; Bridge; Games; Miniature Golf and Golf Outings; Mah Jongg, Theatre, Dining Out (North end and South end) both at local restaurants and members homes for couples and singles. If you have suggestions for new groups, please talk with her at the coffee or call her.

Game Day
Marian Cohen and Wendy Margulies hosted a Game Day on June 24th at the Golden Corral on Seaboard Street and 10th Avenue. Everyone who attended - members and non-members had a good time. Food was great and the prizes were definitely a surprize!!! We hope to have more events like this during the coming year.

A group of Newcomer Ladies would like to start a New Jersey group to enjoy lunch or dinner or other entertainment in Myrtle Beach. Check for a sign up sheet at her table at the coffee.
